Zone C – Koorda area
Since 2011, three sites in the vicinity of Koorda have been the locus of significant clustered earthquake activity. IN late 2011, the activity centred around a location about 25 km NNE of Koorda. In 2012, the activity mainly emanated from a location which was about 20 km NNW of Koorda. Between 2022 and 2023, most of the activity came from a location about 20 km SW of Koorda. The 2011 activity location is now named C1, 2012 activity is C2, and 2022 activity location is C5.
